Road Rash is a racing game by Electronic Arts, featuring street motorcycle racing with combat against other racers and the police. There were six different ports released on gaming platforms during the 90s. This version is the PC port boasting realistic graphics for the time. It has simple racing mechanics where the motorcycle stays on the same horizontal axis while turning is done by shifting left or right. Physics affects how the motorcycle moves on sharp curves, ramps, hills, and uneven terrain so that players can use the topography to launch themselves over large distances or crash. Every racer, including the player, has a stamina bar and running out of stamina causes a Wipeout. Players can inflict damage on rival racers but they must watch out for being attacked by obstacles or counter-attacks. They can steal weapons by punching or kicking opposing racers, some of which include cattle prods, chains, clubs, crowbars, nunchaku, and pipes. The police will also attempt to catch the racers falling behind. Anyone caught by the police is "Busted" and the race ends for them. Completing races allows the player to purchase upgrades or a new motorcycle. System Requirements: regarding graphics and sound but maintaining the familiar gameplay. Until this year, after many years of nurturing the project, Pixel Dash Studios decided to revive this game with the name: Road Redemption. It still features the same blend of speed and violence but will be more appealing due to a series of special effects and a diverse arsenal of weapons for the user to possess. Furthermore, thanks to the Steam system, gamers can co-op with 4 other friends to make the race in Road Redemption more interesting. Regarding the system requirements, Road Redemption on the PC environment only requires a 1.4 GHz processor, 4 GB RAM, 512 MB VGA supporting DirectX 9, along with 1 GB storage.
